Triund is a simple trek in Himachal Pradesh that offers you a departure into the great Himalayas. HOW TO GET TRIUND?

There is another trek route that goes via Bhagsu Fall and Shiva Cafe which is considered to be more challenging. How to start the journey?

The journey starts at the mountain town of Leh. The only way to reach Leh is by flight and it is surrounded by snow giving it a complete white look. One can catch a glimpse of the snow capped mountains from the flight as it descends toward Leh which is located at 11400 feet above sea level. The trek is over the Zanskar River which lies frozen during the winter. The most preferred time to cross the ice would be in February. During that time, the ice tends to be at its most stable state. The Frozen River Trek begins from the small village of Chilling from where the Zanskar River begins to freeze.

How to get Annapurna Base Camp?

The starting point of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is the beautiful city of Pokhara, which lies just 5 to 6 hours away from the capital. You can reach Pokhara city from Kathmandu via road or via plane as well. Then take a bus from Pokhara to Nayapul (Kimchi) and begin trekking from there. It’s a 3-4 day trek from Kimchi to Annapurna Base Camp along side the Annapurna valley. Several more treks also starts from there but the most famous treks are Annapurna sunset trek, Machhapuchhre Base Camp trek, Hiunchuli trek, Tilicho lake trek, Annapurna Sanctuary trek, e.t.c.

How to get Kheerganga?

Visitors can reach Pulga by travelling via Kullu, Kasol or Delhi. If you are planning to travel from Kasol, it will take upto 1.5 via bus or 1 hour via bus to Barshaini and then 12 km trek to Kheerganga.

A place not to miss for a backpacker in search for some peace while in Parvati valley in Himachal Pradesh is the village of Pulga which is at an elevation of 9498 feet (2896m) above sea level.

Pulga village is best known for its beautiful wooden houses, Tea plantation and its animal husbandry. At the heart of the village is a temple of their lord Narayana where the older villagers gather in the evening to spend time with each other

How to reach Pulga?

Visitors can reach Pulga by travelling via Kullu, Kasol or Delhi. If you are planning to travel from Kasol, it will take 2 hours to reach Pulga by road. You can also take a bus from Delhi to Bhuntar and from there you can reach Pulga via Katagla.

It is the best place for backpackers and travellers to find one’s soul. Visiting Pulga village is a very refreshing and heavenly experience.

Tosh is a small yet beautiful undiscovered village in Parvati Valley located on a hill near Kasol in the state Himachal Pradesh, India. It is at an elevation of 2400 meters(7,900 ft.) above ground level and is best known for its apple orchids, wooden houses and hashish. It is a very beautiful village with peaceful atmosphere. Best places to visit in Tosh village are the water fall, Tosh Mandir and it’s cheerful cafes.
